The Aquapoint product line offers the possibility of installing outdoor water outlets wherever they are needed, whether ground or wall mounted and for any type of use, whether professional or domestic.

Aquapoint by Colortap is synonymous with quality: the entire range is made from machined aluminium extrusions painted with scratch-, rust, and weather-resistant polyester powders. The hose hanger and fixing base are made of stainless steel, while the taps are made of chrome-plated brass. The materials used make the products in this line ideal for outdoor use, providing resistance to rain, high temperatures and corrosion, while ensuring a modern and sophisticated design.

Ground models always include a single faucet and are newly introduced within the Aquapoint line. Why did we choose to further extend our range? To make the range of high quality and reliable Aquapoint by Colortap products even wider.
They can be installed on the surface quickly and easily, thanks to both the central hose outlet at the bottom and the stainless steel base already provided. There are two installation methods:

– with Aquapoint bases made of concrete or metal;
– directly on the floor.
Ground models are 1 meter high and ideal for multiple outdoor spaces including:
– porches;
– gardens with concrete boxes and plates;
– courtyards;
– cemented areas;
– patios.

Underground models, on the other hand, have 1 or 2 taps and provide high stability through installation deep in the ground, which can be done in two ways:
– with Aquapoint pots directly in the ground;
– by using bases or fittings on bricks or concrete boxes.
Which installation mode is best to choose? The mode of installation can be chosen completely independently according to individual needs. Each product in this range also stands 1.20 meters high so as to ensure a height of one meter from the ground (the excess is buried to facilitate connection to the water supply).

Equipment

Each situation may differ from the other, but here are some tips you can follow for optimal installation: first, equip yourself with a concrete or plastic box that is readily available on the market.

Also, it can be very useful to consider a base, which can be of different types: metal or concrete.

– In standard perforated concrete;
– in perforated concrete with drain grate.
– in zinc and painted steel for outdoor use, with drain grate and border for decorative stones. A useful suggestion? We recommend filling our planned edging grid with stones. This provides greater stability as well as a decorative effect;

Recommended procedure

Once the dig has been made, follow the next 3 steps.

– Fix the supplied steel base to the chosen base;
– Mount the post on the steel base using the screws provided;
– Proceed to connect the water post hose to the water supply.

The Ground solution is perfect for those who want a sturdy product and a quick and easy installation with a single tap. Let’s now look at the installation tips of the Underground models.

Equipment

First, for filling the pots, we recommend using decorative stones and sand that can be easily found in the market (alternatively, you can opt for soil as a filling material). Next, it is important to choose the type of pot to be used depending on the base inside it. This can be made of integrated PE or assembled metal.

Recommended procedure

Once the dig has been made, follow the 4 steps below.
– Proceed with the introduction of the water post into the pot;
– Fasten the water post with screw on the base;
– At this point the water post hose can be connected to the water supply;
– Stabilize by filling with stones and sand.

Equipment

As seen for the Underground models that can be installed in Aquapoint pots, if you choose to use the concrete box, we recommend that you have decorative stones and sand for filling, all of which are readily available commercially. As an alternative to the concrete box, a concrete brick can be used.

For fixing, on the other hand, there is a choice of:
– zinc metal fittings;
– zinc metal base

Recommended procedure

Once the dig has been made, follow the 4 steps below.
– Start by fixing the base or the fittings to the base of the concrete box or brick;
– Now introduce the water post and secure it with the screw to the chosen accessory;
– Now connect the water post hose to the water supply;
– Finish by filling with stones and sand to stabilize.

– To avoid damage to the faucets, proceed to cleaning the water system by having all impurities inside expelled, after which you can proceed to connecting the water post
– To make it easier to shut off the open/close valve and connect to the water supply, we recommend the shut-off valve hydrant box (item 262).

– Avoid winding more than 10 m to the hose hanger to be inserted into the water post.
– Taps worn out? All of our taps can be easily replaced and are interchangeable.
